Pet care and dog walking near you
Pet sitting, dog walking and a grooming trip involve different responsibilities. Describe the pet’s routine, temperament and needs before arranging help. Agree on communication and emergency contacts so the provider understands the limits of the task.
An account is needed to request help. Availability and response times depend on providers in your area.
What to include in your request
- Name the pet type, size and usual routine.
- Describe walking, feeding, sitting or transport requirements.
- Discuss behaviour, medication arrangements and special needs privately.
- Agree visit times, access and updates.
- Provide an appropriate contact and discuss unexpected situations.
Share your suburb publicly and keep your exact address and contact details for the appropriate private booking step.
What affects the price?
Visit frequency, duration, travel, number of pets and the care scope influence pet-care quotes.
Ask each provider what their quote includes: labour, materials, travel, removal of waste and any follow-up visit. Compare the same scope and agree changes before extra work starts.

Common questions
Will there always be someone available nearby?
Availability depends on who offers this service in your area and when they can work. A page describes the service; it does not guarantee a provider, a price or an emergency response.
What if the job needs a qualified specialist?
Ask the provider for the qualifications, registration or experience relevant to your work before agreeing it. For an immediate danger, use the appropriate emergency service instead of waiting for a task reply.
